1. Construction Manager – Wind

Candidate shall possess 5-10 years of power and or industrial experience, 2 years of which are on-site during the construction of wind farms. Skills shall, at a minimum, be in one or more of the following categories but the position shall require a general understanding of all categories , civil works (roads and foundations), electrical and communications (collection systems), assembly and erection of the wind turbines, electrical substation and plant commissioning. Must be versed in Safety, Environmental and Quality Control functions on the job site. Must support the Owner’s project manager in certain commercial aspects of the construction contracts. Must possess highly effective communication skills and be technically competent.

Must be computer literate, with particular emphasis on WORD, EXCEL, PROJECT and POWER POINT. Must be able to organize and address RFI’s, change orders, schedule work-arounds, general construction paper work and transition coordination from construction to normal operations.

Must work independently with minimal support required for the VP of Engineering and Construction.

Assignments are as the Owner Representative on wind projects. Candidate must possess the ability to contribute in a forward thinking manner to “Add Value” to the Owners team.

Salary: $70-$85,000 plus benefits

Work location: at the job site nationally.

2. Senior Construction Manager – Wind

Candidate shall possess 10 plus years of power and or industrial experience, 3 years of which are on-site during the construction of wind farms. Skills shall include all aspects of construction, including strong understanding of Construction Safety, Environmental and Quality Control functions. Must possess highly effective communication skills and be technically competent. Must be computer literate, with particular emphasis on WORD and EXCEL. Scheduling capability using Microsoft PROJECT is desirable. Must be able to organize and address RFI’s, change orders, schedule work-arounds, general construction paper work and transition coordination from construction to normal operations.

Must be knowledgeable and experienced in supporting the Owners project manager in commercial aspects of the equipment supply and construction contracts associated with the project.

Must work independently. Reports to the VP of Engineering and Construction.

Assignments are as the Owner Representative on high profile wind projects. Strong leadership skills required. ‘Forward thinking” a must.

Salary: $85-$110,000 plus benefits

3. Senior Project Manager – Wind

Candidate shall possess 10 plus years of power and or industrial experience, 3 years of which are in the wind industry.
Skills shall include all aspects of project management, including experience in the field during construction and commissioning. Candidate must be capable of developing contracts including project specific terms and conditions and the technical scope of work. Candidate must be versed in all engineering disciplines and capable of leading the conceptual and/or basis scope development to be included in contracts and then carrying forward the direction and decision making requirements as detailed engineering and design progresses. Must possess strong understanding and leadership in project Safety, Environmental and Quality Control functions. Must possess highly effective communication skills and be technically competent. Must be computer literate, with particular emphasis on WORD, EXCEL, PROJECT and POWER POINT. Must be able to organize project requirements including cash flow forecast and monthly management, contract and change order negotiations. Must organize and manage the site construction team. Must be capable of developing and managing project budgets and schedules.

Must possess a degree in engineering or comparable experience.

Must work independently. Reports to the VP of Engineering and Construction

Assignments are as the Owner Project Manager. The assignment demands self motivated individuals with forward thinking skill-sets. Must be a leader who sets the tone to ensure highly effective project execution.

Salary: $100-$120,000 plus benefits

Work location: Annapolis, Maryland corporate office with frequent travel (up to 50%).


4. International Assignments
