2/12 - Press Release: EnergyWorks - Coaltec Energy

EnergyWorks BioPower and Coaltec Energy (coaltecenergy.com) announced today that they will collaborate in the development of several facilities that will process animal manure to produce renewable energy and reclaim valuable minerals and nutrients.
The first of these Energy and Nutrient Recovery Facilities will be constructed in south central Pennsylvania. The completed facility will process approximately 250 tons of poultry manure daily. By-products include a nutrient and carbon (biochar) rich ash. In addition, this facility will make a significant contribution to meeting Pennsylvania's commitment to reducing the nitrogen and phosphorous loading to the Chesapeake Bay.
